Privacy Policy

How we look after your personal information.

Last updated: October 2026

Who we are

Poppingstone (“we”, “us”) provides strategic marketing and fractional leadership services. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, please email karenlowe@poppingstone.co.uk.

What we collect

When you use our enquiry form we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, company, phone number (if provided) and your message. Like most websites, our hosting providers may also record basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security purposes.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, to discuss how we might work together, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and, where you ask us to provide services, to take steps before entering into a contract with you.

Spam protection

To protect our enquiry form from automated abuse we may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical information about your device and browser to tell people apart from bots. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to host this website, store enquiries securely and deliver notification emails. They process information only on our instructions. Some providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, and normally no longer than two years after our last contact, unless we are required to keep it for longer.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for the site and its security features to work.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email karenlowe@poppingstone.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
